We feel a shift here at AWC.
More teen mothers have been walking through our doors looking for help. In just the past month, we have seen seven pregnant teenagers unsure of what to do. They were anxious about how to share the pregnancy news with their families or loved ones, and unsure of what their next steps should be. The conversations that take place here at AWC are sometimes hard, but we are blessed to have an amazing team of staff and volunteers who are highly motivated to walk with these teens, provide compassionate support and guidance, and offer assistance as they decide what to do next.
AWC’s most recent mission video (below) shares a story of one such teenage mother. Sierra and her son Keon are here today in part because of the kindness, help, and support that you make possible through AWC.
